JessBoost / UX & UI Design

Good design feels easy to use.

The best interface isn't the one with the most features. It's the one that helps people understand what matters, make decisions and keep moving. We design digital experiences around real people and real tasks.

Design for the person using it

Beautiful isn't enough when the journey is confusing.

A digital product can look polished yet leave customers lost. Good UX identifies where they hesitate. Good UI gives them clear, consistent ways to act.

01

Understand the experience

Look at user needs, common tasks, real questions and the places where an existing process becomes frustrating.

02

Make the journey simpler

Clarify navigation, information hierarchy and the steps involved in reaching an important goal.

03

Design interfaces people trust

Build considered layouts, clear controls, accessible states and a consistent visual language.

What we design

From an unclear screen to a usable product.

Whether your project is a website, client portal, online store or internal app, we begin with the needs of the people who will use it.

What does a UX/UI engagement include?

Depending on the project: discovery notes, user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, a clickable prototype, responsive screen designs, interaction guidelines and a developer-ready handoff.

Pricing: Custom quote based on the number of flows, screens, research needs and scope of delivery.

User journeys & information architecture

Organise content and routes around realistic tasks, not arbitrary menu structures.

Wireframes & interactive prototypes

Explore decisions before investing in complete development.

Responsive interface design

Keep core tasks understandable on mobile, tablet and desktop.

Design systems & interaction states

Use consistent components, feedback and visual hierarchy.

Accessibility & usability review

Consider keyboard operation, readability, focus states and error recovery.

How we work

A clearer product, one decision at a time.

We use the right level of research and validation for your project rather than treating every brief as if it needs the same number of workshops.

01 / Discover

Understand users

Map the audience, business context and important tasks.

02 / Structure

Make the journey

Build user flows, navigation and initial wireframes.

03 / Prototype

Design and review

Create responsive screens and test assumptions where possible.

04 / Deliver

Prepare for build

Hand off design decisions and collaborate on implementation.

A connected discipline

UX/UI is not the same as development or CRO.

Frontend Development turns visual and interaction requirements into working interfaces. CRO investigates and improves measurable conversion journeys. UX/UI design concentrates on usability, structure and interface decisions throughout the experience.

Good decisions, not assumptions dressed as results.

We can explore options with interactive prototypes, feedback and usability checks. We don't present illustrative demos as customer research or guarantee that a different layout will improve performance.

Accessibility work can improve inclusivity, but a formal compliance audit should be agreed separately if required.

Frequently asked questions

UX/UI design FAQs

What is the difference between UX and UI design?

UX focuses on the user's overall journey, tasks and ease of use. UI focuses on the visual and interactive elements, such as layouts, components, typography and feedback states. The two disciplines work best together.

Do we need UX/UI design before building a website?

It is often useful, especially for new or complex experiences. For smaller projects, the design process can be proportionate: a simple flow and a few well-reviewed screens may be sufficient.

Can you improve an existing website or application?

Yes. We can examine specific journeys, inconsistent interfaces, difficult navigation and usability problems without assuming a full redesign is necessary.

Will you provide a clickable prototype?

When it is useful to the project, yes. Interactive prototypes help stakeholders understand flows and give feedback before development begins. They are not the finished live product.

Can the design work with our development team?

Yes. We can prepare responsive screens, component guidance, interaction states and handoff notes. Collaboration details depend on the tools and delivery process your team uses.

How do you handle accessibility?

We consider readability, contrast, keyboard interaction, focus and error states as part of design work. If your project requires a formal accessibility standard or compliance assessment, we define that scope explicitly.
