JessBoost / Business Automation

Less busywork. More room to do the work that matters.

Someone fills in a form. A colleague copies the details into a spreadsheet. Another person sends a reminder. We help connect those steps, so information reaches the right place and your team stays in control.

Connected does not mean unsupervised. Important decisions can stay with your team.

Interactive workflow lab

See what happens between the steps.

Choose a common business task. Then explore the trigger, the checks, the human decision and the follow-up. This is a scripted illustration, not a connection to any of your systems.

Choose the task

What's taking more attention than it should?

Click any numbered stage to see what the system would do and where people stay involved.

WORKFLOW CANVAS / 01

A new enquiry, without the copy-and-paste chain.

A visitor asks for a quote. The team needs the details, a clear owner and a reliable next step.

STAGE 01 / TRIGGER

The form starts the workflow.

When a customer sends a form, a workflow can capture the information rather than asking someone to retype it.

Human checkpoint on

A named person checks important details before any external action happens.

The practical difference

Automation should fit the way you work.

Not every repetitive task should be automated. Some steps depend on judgement, context or a personal conversation. The useful starting point is finding work that follows a repeatable pattern—and making sure exceptions have a clear route to a person.

We can help map the current process, review the tools you already use and design sensible connections. That might mean passing a website enquiry into a CRM, creating an internal approval step or organising information for a regular report.

Before anything goes live, we agree what happens when data is missing, a connection fails or a decision needs human review.

Lead and enquiry workflows

Capture details, route them to a responsible team member and avoid losing follow-ups between inboxes.

Content and publishing workflows

Prepare drafts, request checks and organise approvals before something is published.

Reporting and data movement

Bring supported data together, flag gaps and prepare information for people to interpret.

Internal operations

Connect requests, notifications and handovers across suitable business tools.

What a useful automation needs

Three safeguards worth building in.

Good workflows aren't judged only by how many actions they perform. They should be clear enough to maintain and trustworthy enough for everyday work.

01

A clear trigger

Everyone knows what starts the process and what information it needs.

02

An exception route

Missing information or failed connections should produce a visible next step, not a silent error.

03

A named owner

People should know who reviews results, handles sensitive decisions and maintains the workflow.

Tools and scope

Work with what makes sense—not the longest tool list.

Depending on the systems involved, a solution might use n8n, Power Automate, webhooks, APIs or a custom connection. The best option depends on permissions, the systems' capabilities and how the workflow will be maintained.

AI can support selected tasks such as classifying requests or preparing drafts. Where accuracy, privacy or customer trust matters, its output needs appropriate checks. We won't promise that every system can connect or that a human can always be removed from the process.

Automation is different from our broader Software Development service: automation connects and coordinates existing steps; custom software may be needed when the required functionality doesn't yet exist.

Discovery and mapping

Understand the existing process, bottlenecks and realistic automation opportunities.

Setup and integration

Configure appropriate triggers, data mapping, conditions and connected actions.

Testing and handover

Test typical cases, errors, approvals and access before explaining ownership and next steps.

Our working approach

From repeated task to reliable routine.

01

Understand

Watch how the work happens today and define a useful outcome.

02

Design

Map triggers, conditions, human checks, access and failure paths.

03

Test

Run realistic examples and check what happens when data is incomplete.

04

Hand over

Document ownership, monitoring and how to change the workflow safely.

Common questions

What businesses usually want to know.

What kinds of business tasks can be automated?

Often, repeatable tasks such as routing enquiries, sending internal notifications, collecting approved information or coordinating reviews. We assess the actual process before recommending an approach.

Can you connect our current tools?

Potentially. We check whether each system supports suitable APIs, webhooks or integrations, and whether your account permissions or plan allow them.

Will an automation replace our team?

That isn't the goal. We aim to reduce unnecessary repetitive steps while keeping people involved where judgement, care or approval is important.

What happens if something fails?

We plan for errors and exceptions, such as missing fields or unavailable services. Depending on the workflow, that can include a visible error log, a retry or an alert to a responsible person.

Can we use AI in the workflow?

Sometimes. AI can help prepare or organise information, but outputs should be checked based on the risk involved. Sensitive data and access permissions need particular care.

How much does business automation cost?

Every workflow has different tools, integrations and support needs, so this service is quoted individually after the requirements are understood.

Start with one task

Tell us what your team keeps doing twice.

You don't need a fully mapped process before the first conversation. Share the task, the tools involved and where things tend to get stuck. We'll explore whether automation is the right answer.
